My background, as both a physician and engineer, has given me a unique perspective and unbridled passion for bridging the gap between engineering and medicine to bring practical healthcare innovations to market. During the last 14 years, I've focused exclusively on medical technology design and healthcare, relying on my in-depth technical and medical knowledge to lead multi-disciplinary teams to address complex clinical problems. These teams have created several medical devices, biologic therapies, and electronic sensors that are used clinically or are in clinical trials. I also enjoy mentoring the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs through a variety of leadership development training, experiential education, and team-building activities - including high ropes challenge courses as well as climbing and high adventure sailing programs.
