Chris Hoedl

Corporate lender with a broad experience in origination, underwriting, structuring, documenting, and portfolio management side of lending, including asset based, cash flow, trade finance, and cross border transactions. A native of Austria, I started my carrier as a credit analyst with the Representative Office of RZB-Austria in NY. We soon formed RB International, which grew into a successful, sizable business, with credit lines exceeding $3 billion. My responsibilities expanded with the company, reflecting my dedication, hard work, and willingness to take on new tasks. Consequently, I gained broad expertise not only in various aspects of lending and restructurings, but also obtained valuable knowledge on the operational, managerial and funding side of banking. My duties grew from a credit analyst position to a business development officer and eventually I was promoted to Group Head of Corporate Lending, running all aspects of commercial finance in the US. I successfully lead a team, generating asset based and cash flow loans, providing sizeable and stable contributions to the overall bottom line of the company. Due to restructuring at our parent company, we were considered non-essential and are now winding down operations. Given my extensive background, I was appointed to the Board of RB to oversee the exit and liquidation of the corporate business, and I am also deeply involved in the overall closing. I consider myself fortunate to have been part of this incredible journey, which enabled me to obtain a wide range of expertise in commercial lending.
