Chris Mulley

A Telecoms Professional with 32 years experience across a variety of disciplines in the telecoms sector. Currently, working in the Operator Solutions Department of ZTE Corporation, combining expertise in regulatory economics, policy and business modelling skills acquired as a Senior Associate at Ofcom. I have previously worked as a self-employed consultant providing strategic advice on NGN standards development. Prior to this as manager of the Core Systems Engineering group within Fujitsu Networks Europe Ltd (FNEL) leading a team of 8 providing network solutions (value range: US$M10-100) to major European operators, and pre-sales support to the FNEL sales team. This role also included responsibility for the planning of transmission product development for the European core and metro markets - developing current and future strategies, product adaptation and optimisation requirements, then communicating these to the product development teams in Japan and the USA. Experienced in working in an international multi-cultural environment in Western and Eastern Europe, USA, China and Japan; and possessing an extensive knowledge of the telecoms business environment backed by 6 years experience of embedded hardware and software design, including C, assembly language programming and FPGA design.
