Senior ecologist with sound theoretical background knowledge and practical skills in a range of ecological surveys. Projects have included, power, water, residential and commercial, highways and rail. I have significant experience in conducting assessments and designing mitigation for a range of protected species and has also contributed to all stages of EIA through outline design, detailed design, consents, construction and post construction. I possess detailed background knowledge and practical skills for a number of ecological surveys including Phase 1 habitat surveys, NVC, River Habitat and hedgerow surveys and also has a wealth of experience in conducting surveys for a number of protected species including otter, hazel dormouse, water vole, badger, reptiles, great crested newts, white-clawed crayfish and bats. I am an experienced Ecological Clerk of Works. I hold a GCN survey license for England and Wales and have been the licensee for a badger and GCN development licences in England and Wales. My work frequently includes habitat design, mitigation measures for protected species, site supervision and management plans.
