Christian Dashiell

My professional career has been spent communicating with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. My experience in higher education included academic writing, speaking to college students in ways that they found engaging, and everything in between.As I now focus on writing, I am using my communication skills to help fellow parents navigate the joys and challenges of family life. My wife and I have four kiddos ranging in age from 4 to 15, two of whom are internationally adopted. Having grown up in a multi-ethnic family myself, my passion for issues regarding race, culture and ethnicity runs deep.In one of my graduate school classes, effective communication was defined as that which can teach, delight and inspire. While my individual writings vary in the ratio which those elements appear, that approach defines the overall scope of my work.
