I am highly interested in the field of communication networks which include cable computer networks as well as wireless and mobile communication. Therefore, I would like to work in this area. I have experience working within an international environment and within interdisciplinary groups of professionals, giving me an insight into a vast array of different skills and areas of research. Working as part of a team and exchanging ideas has given me a new perspective and enhanced my own work. As a student at the University of Technology, Ilmenau, I was able to gain knowledge in the field of development and research of embedded systems from simple microcontroller systems up to FPGA-based systems. I choose my major in integrated communication systems and my minor in multimedia communication systems. In those subjects, I learned about wireless sensor networks, mobile communication systems as well as computer networks with a focus on their conception and development thereafter. Furthermore, the management, security and functionality of the available protocols and algorithms were part of the studies. I successfully used the skills gained from this study when working as an Intern at ST-Ericsson and also when writing my Master thesis at the UABC, Mexicali. Upon completion of my studies, I would like to work in a global operating company. I see myself as a responsible and focused person who can work both independently and as part of a team. In my role as the President of the bc studentencafé and Groupleader of an international group at the International Students Week Ilmenau (ISWI) 2013, I was able to improve my leaderships and organizational skills. Through my experience of living abroad, I have a strong awareness and respect of different cultures and customs. I prefer to work as part of a team and enjoy on new challenges.
