M.S Food, Nutrition and Culinary Science (2015) Thesis research - Separation and Identification of Bioactive Compounds from Oplopanax horridus With my experience in my research lab and two extended internships, I have been exposed to various techniques and over the years I have had the opportunity to sharpen my skills with analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC and MS. In a quality lab setting, I have successfully implemented new testing methods and in a research lab I have effectively developed new methods. I am someone who enjoys learning and will constantly ask questions so that I can fully understand what I am doing and how it applies to the greater picture. I use my background in chemistry as a foundation, as that I am able to apply my knowledge to diverse industries such as food and beverage or pharmaceutical.
