Christina Jin

With over ten years’ experience working in State Government, the private sector, and community organisations; I have a broad range of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the connections between government policies and programme delivery. I have worked in a number of positions and have experience at working in cross-cultural settings through communicate with people from many backgrounds and cultures as well as individuals from different organisations, both verbal and written. I have always been able to build rapport and trust by actively listening to clients and then provide them with information, referrals and casework. I have solid experience working with clients who have mental health issues and knowledge of the impact on their families and believe that my abilities here will be of use. My case management skills come from my previous and current work experiences and I believe I am very flexible. My passion is to assist people who find themselves in the circumstances beyond their control, and who need professional intervention and support. I am a firm advocate of social justice and believe in advocating for vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. I aim to assist people to overcome barriers to integrate fully into society and live as equals positively.
