Christina Kirby

Christina Kirby is dedicated to tackling social challenges in education at the intersection of evidence, policy and practice. Currently, she acts as the Programme Manager for Education- North America at Porticus, a global philanthropic organization. In this role she leads large-scale initiatives that strive to embed whole child development into complex systems through partnerships. Previously, Christina worked as an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Science and Innovation Programme Officer at the Núcleo Ciência Pela Infância, a collective impact group focused on ECD in Brazil. Prior to joining the non-for-profit world, she taught students in the United States, Colombia, and Brazil. Christina holds a Master of Education from Harvard University in Mind, Brain and Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California Berkeley.
