Christine Brash

When I was younger, I was obsessed with a plastic globe that I would spin and whichever country, capital, or region my finger would land on, I would make travel itinerary plans. I went as far as finding historical documentaries on youtube and did plenty of "fantasy research." Well, I may not have embarked on the "Siberian Adventure Tour: Russia's Far East Destinations," (yes, I named all of the itineraries) but after graduating the University of Michigan with a B.A. In International Studies, I spent a wonderfully, brilliant year abroad teaching English in Seoul, South Korea. As well as helping cure the travel bug, I developed myself as a leader in and out of the classroom. I was able to create my own private tutoring network with individuals ranging from children to adults. I pursued a willingness to understand the administrative side of our school and communicated possible ways to increase the efficiency of recruiting and marketing plans. My passion and love for teaching is combined with aspirations of creating new and powerful ways to increase organizational learning for businesses. Outside of work, I’m committed to immersing myself in local community activities and volunteer events. I am an avid 5k runner and tough mudder/spartan race/warrior dash enthusiast. However, I am always looking for a great bookstore and to cozy up at a coffee shop. I have a deep passion for the international community and am never shy to try to speak new languages, meet culturally diverse members of the community, and swap traveling stories. With my previous experiences; an extensive stay abroad and immersing myself in diverse communities, I have developed a unique set of skills that I am ready to share and connect these pieces together for an organization. Specialties: team-building, flexibility and multi-tasking, communications, analyzing data, consumer insights, high ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to confidentiality
