Christine Nguyen

Christine Nguyen is the Historic Preservation Planner for the City of Anaheim. Christine’s responsibilities include the management of the third largest Mills Act program in the State, and providing assistance to historic property owners for the identification and protection of their historic resources. She serves as staff liaison to the local Historic Preservation Committee and is an active member in the California Preservation Foundation. She is also the founder of the Orange County Historic Preservation Planner Working Group, which currently represents 15 jurisdictions across Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Christine has worked in municipal government for nearly a decade, including positions at the County of Orange, City of Seal Beach and Anaheim Public Utilities. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Kansas State University and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California – Irvine. She also earned her LEED AP credential through the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009.
