Christine Wilson, MSN, RN

More than 12 years experience as a Registered Nurse in New York. Prior experience includes 10 years in the Healthcare field as a receptionist, office manager, as well as a self-employed transcriptionist. Strong Oncology experience with a current Chemotherapy provider card. Experienced in taking care of patients at the end of life while working on an Oncology/Hospice unit in an acute care facility. Registered Nursing degree obtained in 2003 from SUNY Farmingdale. Recent graduate (May 2015) from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, with MSN in Administration/Informatics tract. Clinical rotations (200 hours) included one semester in a facility that utilized EPIC electronic health records, and another at a facility that utilized Allscripts electronic Health Record. The third semester (90 hours) was in an acute care setting with a nursing administrator. While working full time and attending graduate school I was active with various committees at my facility which included the Clinical Ladder Program, cancer committee, journal club and the start-up of a survivor day celebration. I was also trained as a Super-user in EPIC as a bedside nurse. In my most recent position as a bedside nurse I used the Allscripts program.
