Christopher Kachler

Over my past four internship experiences, I have learned what it truly means to be a mechanical engineer. I have learned multiple ways of solving a single problem. I experienced what it is like to see a project from start to finish. I understand that nothing usually follows the schedule that way there must also be a Plan B and even a Plan C. Throughout my experiences, I have learned different 3-D modeling software including enhanced skills in Solidworks, and learning Creo, Inventor, and AutoCAD. I was also able to increase my leadership and teamwork skills in a real world setting outside the classroom. I experienced what it is like to work with different people that were harder for me to connect with and easy for me to connect with. Overall, my experience has helped me prepare myself for a full time position upon graduation.
