My carrier in the construction industry commenced in 1986 after Six years service in the armed forces. Attending Salisbury College and Southampton University to gain Construction Proffesional Qualifications and starting as a Site Agent, Managing a small building business specialising in subcontract works.A well respected Manager In Tarmac’s South East regional Operational Team, a strong track record in Project Management, Client liason and fully conversant in technical issues and the technicalities of the business while thoroughly efficient with the management of site staff, meeting demanding programmes and communicating effectively with key members of each Project Team.More recently, I have undertaken the role of Site Agent on behalf of Tarmac, managing a £63M project in Kent, being responsible for programming the works and monitoring delivery whilst controlling costs. my previous role was within the company structure as Change Agent; this is within the continuous improvement environment, where the team is responsible for completing a stakeholder analysis to measure and ascertain the processes of current Site Operations. Mapping the ‘future state’ and ensuring a step change to achieve this, to ensure a consistent structure across the business, whilst sharing best practice for continuous improvement and maintaining Health & Safety standards.Specialties: Total Project Management.
