Currently, as a tax manager / tax specialist, I am responsible for the direct/indirect tax affairs (including also international tax aspects) of the Cypriot Companies of Rosneft Group. Other responsibilities are, inter-alia, those of coordinating and liaising with external tax service consultants for ensuring compliance of the EU entities of the Group with the local tax laws at their jurisdictions, as well as, arranging for tax budgeting and tax payments (on a monthly basis). I have vast knowledge and experience in Cyprus Tax/Vat laws, which was mainly gained whilst I was working in tax advisory department of PwC Cyprus. Previously (Sept 2011 - Aug 2019), I used to work in the Direct Tax department of PwC Cyprus, where I had the opportunity to be involved in tax compliance/advisory work for various companies/individuals (mainly operating in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan). From 2016 to 2019 I was acting as a job manager for all companies under my portfolio. Specifically, my key roles and responsibilities were, inter-alia, as follows: • Handling a portfolio of clients (around 120 companies) – monitoring budgets/recoverability/deadlines.• Organising work, setting priorities and keeping an updated list of my pending tasks.• Responsible for a team of two individuals – daily coaching / reviewing and providing feedback for every assignment that was delegate to them.• Direct communication with clients, tax division and internal audit and accounting department.• Ensuring all projects/tasks are delivered within the agreed deadlines and budget.• Ensuring that we always meet clients expectations/needs and deliver high quality work.• Working directly with my partner/upper management in various projects.
