Ciera Harlee

Prior to completing my Master's degree I worked as a Youth Advisior for Covenant House. While there I provided case management services for homeless and at risk young adults. This work included but was not limited to conducting intake assessments, creating individualized goal oriented case plans, creating vocational work shops, connecting clients with educational programs, and maintaining relationships with community resources. During this time I also worked as a Milieu Counselor at Warwick House, a trauma treatment facility for youth ages 5-16. While there I utilized trauma informed care strategies to support youth in and out of the classroom. I provided structured daily activities, supervised visitation for families, and maintain detailed on youth behavior. In 2015 I completed my Master's in Criminal Justice with Honors. My concentration was behavior management. Following the completion of my degree I joined Teach for America and taught 2nd grade with Uncommon schools for two years. I am currently in my Eighth year of teaching with Ingenuity Prep.
