A lifelong learner who enjoys motherhood, family, friends, storytelling, and mentoring the next generation in Christ-centered communication and leadership so that they can be a positive influence in the world. When I reconnected with the Institute for Cultural Communications (ICCinc.org) as the Chapter Sponsor of RI HOPE in 2013, I began a journey of personal discovery. ICC has introduced me to ministries that have empowered me to become a more effective communicator. Knowing myself to lead myself and grow in self-awareness has been key. It started with Peacemaking. Myers Briggs: Entertainer. Giant Worldwide 5-Voices: Connector/Nurture/Creative. Strengths Finder: Positivity, Belief, Developer, Strategic, Woo. In 2019, at the ICC International Convention (iCON), I learned about the Four Temperaments and that I am 95% Sanguine. Each discovery has helped to transform my life and relationships. With all the training and tools that ICC has given me, I apply this knowledge to inspire, support, and challenge the ICC chapter sponsors and curriculum group leaders to become "Extraordinary" leaders for Christ. I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ who has made it possible for me to serve in this vital ministry of mentoring next-generation leaders who are "ready to speak" 1 Peter 3:15.
