I have a strong desire to learn new things. I want to stretch myself outside my comfort zone which allows me to become a better employee as well as to learn more about my strengths and weaknesses. I can be very analytical and find it easy to understand the big picture and be able to relate it to the details in order to provide a better working relationship with co-workers, managers, and patients or clients. I am very determined to understand why things are done the way they are and to find a way to either change for the better or adjust my way of doing things so that the best experience is provided to the end user and the employer. I have 14 years of experience as an analyst for CTG/IBM and found the work very satisfying. I have found education a great way to see, do and experience new environments and well as a way of stretching myself for personal satisfaction. I love learning to work in new environments and even spent 15 months overseas in the Republic of Yemen with Canadian Occidental Petroleum Corp. (now Nexen). During this time I travelled extensively and visited Ethiopia, Kenya, Jordan, Egypt, The United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, and Hong Kong. I would relish the opportunity to do this again.
