I started working in childcare after leaving college in 1993. Since then I have worked in 3 different nurseries gaining experience through various roles from Trainee Nursery Nurse, Qualified Nursery Nurse, Room Leader, Deputy Manager to Nursery Manager. In 2004 I opened my own nursery with my husband Kevin. The nursery has gone from strength to strength over the last 9 years and we have a great team of staff who make us what we are today. In 2005 we started our family when Oliver came along. Then Rowan was born in 2009 and finally Lily arrived in 2011. After spending their childhood at our nursery, both boys are now attending school full time and they love it. Nursery life certainly helped to prepare them for school and it really shows. Unfortunately Lily was diagnosed with cancer in March 2012 and passed away after a long hard battle in November 2012. She too loved nursery and everyone really misses her.
