Claire DeMarco

I am a 2020 graduate from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, where I received my combined B.S./M.S. Degrees. I completed my Clinical Fellowship at the Cantalician Center for Learning in Depew, NY. My caseload included students aged 3-21 with developmental disabilities ages 3 - 21. Having the opportunity to work directly with individuals across the lifespan with various diagnoses has allowed me to gain increased knowledge within the field. I have an interest in working with individuals with augmentative and alternative communication devices. Additionally, I am highly motivated to continue to learn from my colleagues, research, and new experiences. My current position is a NYS licensed speech-language pathologist within the Niagara Falls City School District. I have worked at two primary schools along with the High School where I serviced primarily self-contained classrooms. Additionally, I provided social skills therapy to the high school students in the 15:1 extension and Functional Life Skills classrooms. After school, I provide teletherapy services and run an after school Cooking & Crafts program.
