Clara Guasch

As the Executive Director of a Research project on Social Innovation, I currently manage a newly created team of 26, making sure we all work towards our goal efficiently while learning from and adapting to the various challenges encountered. Before that, as CEO of Cocorointim SL, I was responsible for the vision, strategy, and leadership of the company, taking great care to make sure everyone in the company was heard and considered. I'm co-founder of Cocorointim SL, together with three wonderful partners. Previous to that, I managed projects at DFKI and acrolinx in Berlin, as well as in the technology centre Barcelona Media in Barcelona (now Eurecat), where I later worked as Head of Communications. With that experience, I joined Comunicació Digital, where I was responsible for improving work processes, managing the whole team of 10 and making sure all projects fell within budget. Seeing an opportunity for the company to move forward, I created the Content area from scratch. After that, I founded ‘Aclareix’, a communication consultancy specialized in Content Strategy at a time when this discipline was only starting to be heard of in Europe. Following my desire to share leadership, enthusiasm and responsability with equally passionate people, I became the fourth Femmefleur co-owner after having worked for them as a consultant. We then founded Cocorointim SL, a highly motivating project based on feminism, sustainability, innovation and technology. I wanted my next professional step to be in the area of social innovation, so I'm only delighted to have been given the opportunity to work on an ambitious research project led by the IPEG and Fundesplai, and which enjoys Next Generation EU funding.I'm a Linguist with an MA in Linguistics (UAB) and an MA in Computational Linguistics (University of Essex).
