I graduated from The Evergreen State College with my B.S. Focused in Computer Science in June of 2014. My 15+ years of direct customer service experience allowed me to make a smooth transition to the technology support and development field.In my current position at the Employment Security Department, I design and implement test strategies for the migration of the online Unemployment Tax and Benefits System (NGTS) from the original mainframe application, TAXIS. I develop and execute a wide array of automated and manual tests and their supporting test plans, up to and including incoming interface files, end-user functionality, and batch processing of daily workloads. Recently I have moved to creating technical documentation that outlines our test approaches and overall system functionality in an effort to assist with expediting the onboarding of new hires and adding clarity and uniformity to test team deliverables.Previously I provided technical support for MasterCard's ECommerce Payment gateway product; MiGS, as well as TNSPay's legacy products. On a daily basis I resolved issues for our direct customers and re-sellers that are raised by our level 1 support desk which include; boarding merchants and users onto our platform, investigating/resolving API errors that occur with both test and production transactions and ensuring network connectivity through the top 5 layers of the OSI model.
