Went into management side of business after four years by going into machine shop as forman , then promoted to Machine shop manager.At age 28 asked to run the diecast foundry. Six years on and made Works Manager. I was made redundant from Slough Metals and the company moved away to Devizes, Wiltshire. Started Jenkins Engineering Limited in 1979.After some good and some tricky times, Jenkins Engineering Limited is very well established, prifitable,well run company in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Specialising in CNC machining of aluminium and steel mainly.
