Currently manage the survey for earthworks on the Waikato Expressway Hamilton Section on behalf of Hick Bros Civil. Boasting 21.8 km of expressway, 17 bridges and major 5 interchanges it is the largest project undertaken in the Waikato region's history. We manage all GPS systems such as Leica, Trimble and Topcon that offers machine guidance on multiple excavators, dozers, scrapers and graders for major earthworks. We also fly 2 UAV drones (Altus ORC2 Heli and DJI Phantom 4 Pro) for photogrammetry and 3D surface representation and post-process using Pix4D to offer our client up-to-date volume analysis and images. Our site is currently operating under a Trimble internet base station service (IBSS) which broadcasts RTK data corrections over Wifi or cellular network to our rovers and machines. Col, Bryce, Duane and Landau also work in conjunction with the Fletcher construction survey team to help design and implement all survey requirements for the construction of the major and local roads for the project.
