Ever since I can remember, I’ve been passionate about high-quality craftsmanship and design. I believe that artistic expression can take many forms, and that art is most impactful when it conveys a meaningful message in addition to an evocative experience. Like unwrapping a present, opening a book, website, or application for the first time should be exciting, enlightening, and perhaps even a little challenging (if you wrap your presents like I do). I also believe that the best and most important work can only be achieved through collaboration. Working in an environment of mutual respect, open-mindedness, and shared excitement toward a common goal is what makes people feel like their work is important—because that's the environment that produces the most important work.Finally, I believe that the best leaders are thoughtful, transparent, and generous with their time and effort. Leaders must create a culture of high performance, but also one of trust and humility. Leadership should not take place from the front or from behind, but alongside.I have nearly two decades of experience in EdTech portfolio management, product development, team leadership, and in a past life, commercial website design. An avid tech junkie with an appetite for the latest and greatest, I embrace new platforms, new processes, and new ways of working together.I live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my wife and our twin sons.
