Conor O Brien

Currently undertaking a 12 month J1 internship program in the US with TBD Consultants. I’m working in the MEPF department where I’ll be performing cost estimating take-offs on mechanical systems and sub-assemblies in order to quantify construction materials and costs. I recently graduated from Munster Technological University as a Mechanical Engineer. Throughout my final year I worked part time as a weekend medical devices production operator. I also recently completed an internship as a project engineering intern. I was working alongside a number of engineers, designing containment solutions for pharmaceutical companies both nationally and internationally. I have also assisted with the installation of numerous containment projects in some of Ireland’s biggest pharmaceutical factories. I have extensive experience working for and alongside highly skilled Stone Masons, where I was able to experience first hand the importance of teamwork and effective communication. I have also worked part time in a number of retail shops as a customer assistant throughout my college course, which has taught me how to constructively manage my time, prioritise tasks and meet all deadlines.
