Corie McLaughlin

As a May 2015 graduate of St. Joseph’s University, a Math major, Fine Art minor, and Division I Athlete, I look forward to “putting it all together” as I launch my career upon graduation. I’ve been fortunate to have a broad range of experiences so far, ranging from retail sales, to coaching, to volunteerism, to an internship in investment management. Along the way, I have developed leadership, analytical, and creative skills that give me balance and a foundation for achieving individual and team goals. Someone recently asked me what inspires me—this is what comes to mind… I am inspired when I am a part of a group of passionate, hard working, goal-oriented individuals who will do whatever it takes to accomplish the task at hand. I am inspired by clear, consistent directions and expectations from leaders who love what they do. I am inspired by great coaches who actively demonstrate the leadership qualities that I strive to emulate. I am inspired by coaches that are passionate, care about growth of the team not only as players, but also as individuals, while recognizing the unique potential in every person. I am inspired by leaders who set high standards for others, motivating them to be the best people they can be. I am inspired by all that I have accomplished, and all that I have ahead of me.
