I began my nursing career in October 2015 as a Graduate Nurse Resident at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest on the MICU/SICU. I had graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a Public Health Minor, and then graduated cum laude from DeSales University with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in the accelerated 2nd degree program. It was there where I found a passion for critical care nursing. While at DeSales, I was a tutor and a note-taker for two classes, which helped me become more of a leader in the classroom while enhancing my time management skills. I was also a home nurse's aide for a patient suffering from ALS. All of these experiences have shaped me into the nurse I am today. I hope to continue to learn as I start my current position as a Registered Nurse on the MICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
