Craig Burritt

I grew up in the Conejo Valley. I've seen it go from a "post Mayberry" town to the incredible community it is today. I loved growing up here, I love raising my kids here with my wife Kelli, and I love doing my part to help keep this community great. In November of 2015 I was "lucky" enough to be diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm. I use the word "lucky" when describing my experience in part because if gone untreated I would have died, and in part because at almost 46 years old my eyes have been opened. Life is too damn short to look back on it with regret. I've spent too much time not focusing on what's important. My wife is the most incredible person I know. The strength she showed during my surgery and recovery was inspirational. I could not have done it without her. My children are the reason I am excited to get out of bed every day. I am so fortunate to have their infectious spirits in my life, and am blessed to see them grow. I will treasure each day I have all three of them in my life. I love being a realtor. Helping people get to know and love the Conejo Valley as much as I do is something I truly enjoy. However, I can no longer go about the traditional business of being a realtor. Knocking on doors, making cold calls, and bugging friends and family for business are actions that I can no longer bring myself to do. I wills still be helping people buy and sell homes in the area, but I can no longer do those things that go against the core of my character and beliefs. Instead, I will be spending my time building and strengthening relationships within our community. I will be helping to strengthen the connection between the local small business owner and the citizens of our community through my Conejo Valley Community Spotlight videos, podcasts, and newsletters.
