Craig Chance

Craig is an experienced, versatile and creative sales leader and professional with a passion for technology, business and societal value. Craig has been successful in a variety of sales roles - most recently leadership but also previously as an IC covering large territories, specific verticals and also single/global accounts. He has sold software, saas, services and hardware solutions both directly to large enterprise customers but also by creating joint go to markets and selling through an ecosystem of partners. Craig has experience in dealing with all major industry verticals and understands how digital technologies are disrupting and establishing new ways of operating. To this point, Craig has predominately led teams selling technology solutions that realise very rapid returns on investment that by nature are centred around disruptive technology trends and appeal to early adopters with unique business challenges. Disruptive technologies are rarely budgeted line items, so Craig has good experience of collaborating with large stakeholder communities to build compelling cases for change. Currently, Craig is working for one of the most exciting startup companies in the big data and AI space called Databricks. Craig is part of the newly expanded EMEA team and is currently building and leading a team of talented Account Executives focused on the Northern European Market - specifically Enterprise Telco, Media and Entertainment vertical as well as high growth commercial businesses. From an academic standpoint, Craig is well qualified and well versed in the subject of Economics; understands rudimentary machine learning and is also interested in the application of fundamental physics to technology.
