After my journey around the globe, I will pursue my mid-term career-objectives are to pass CFA Level II + III and to make a step forward in my career. Until then I will improve my skills like of planning, patience, flexibility, cultural awareness and grow as a person. Furthermore, I will learn Spanish and do a Python course on Coursera. My last position was within UBS Investment Bank - Middle Office for Global Equity Derivatives. I loved the responsibility, projects, the drive to automate, challenges and to work closely across teams, continents, and time zones. As a Senior Analyst in Trade Processing & Reconciliation for Northern Trust in Basel I had a 1-year contract. During that time, I did various task to provide a correct and in-time Fund Pricing every day. Within my responsibilities were the processing of securities, ETD- & OTC-derivatives and TBA transactions. Besides that, I supported that fund subscriptions, redemptions, and switches were done as well as stock reconciliation and break investigation were solved. My first position after university was as Junior Portfolio Manager in an independent external asset manager with a focus on discretionary mandates and an "Absolute Return" approach. My main responsibilities were the daily cash management, providing research, executing trades and due diligence in equities, funds, and options. As a banking finance student at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences – ZHAW – I was able to improve my banking knowledge. In addition, I was able to participate at the European exchange program Erasmus and to study six months at Hertfordshire University near London. By writing my bachelor thesis about a Japanese scenario – long-term low interest rates and low equity performances – for Swiss pension funds, I was able to do an in-depth critical analysis of a hypothetical trend. I finished my Bachelor of Science with a focus in banking and finance in 2015. My experiences within the UBS institutional sales team during my apprenticeship made it clear to me that Banking and especially working with professional teams will be my future. My goal is to find long-term, sustainable and great solutions for all stakeholders.
