Dan Callaghan

I've worked 15+ years as a technologist across broadcast and online media and creative industries. My current role and interests focus on technical project planning and delivery in broadcast and online media. Across production, transmission and distribution systems I've honed high level skills in the design, operation, monitoring and maintenance of performant, resilient and modern media systems, harnessing long-standing traditional technologies through to new and emerging network-based media standards, to virtualised and cloud platforms. Completing a Masters of Information Technology focused on networks and security in late 2021, I have developed a specific interest in exploring and testing security aspects of media production and transmission systems. I have also developed experience in data analytics, including the development of development of software systems for the measuring and monitoring service usage and audience data.
