I'm a practicing attorney with more than fifteen years of experience in the clean energy sector. I’m also an enthusiastic and highly effective problem solver with extensive knowledge in renewable energy, strong communication skills, high ethical standards and competency in managerial issues, human resources, fiscal operations and creating systems for improved efficiency. I’m strongly motivated by my desire to repair the world, and sustained by my love of the uniquely American artform of Jazz. I have assisted clients on a broad range of clean energy projects - from renewable energy developers to commercial and institutional offtakers. I have provided expert testimony on renewable markets and helped hydropower producers leverage policies towards successful transactions. Since 2010 I have assisted clients in my own boutique practice focusing primarily on renewable energy. I'm currently in a General Counsel role with a leading solar developer. From 2013 – 2017 I served as the Deputy Director and Director of Operations of the Low Impact Hydropower Institute (LIHI), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to reducing the impacts of hydropower generation. I also served as Secretary of the LIHI Governing Board from 2009 to 2014. I have taught energy policy classes at The Cooper Union School of Continuing Education, Green Building Design Program and served previously as Energy Policy Coordinator at the Pace Energy and Climate Center in White Plains, NY, contributing to a range of projects related to renewable energy, distribution resource planning, standby rates, demand response, and energy efficiency. I’m also a business owner with experience in the music industry, including artist management and co-owner of a record label.
