About

I like solving important technical and human problems. My curiosity and my skills in physics, biomedical engineering, and programming have let me work on cutting-edge research and technology development in several fields. Now, I build imaging tools that researchers can use to study the human brain. As an undergraduate at Concordia University, I pursued a BSc in physics to deepen my understanding of our universe and our place in it. I studied mathematics, quantum mechanics, and how we represent the motion of everyday objects, the planets, and stars. At the same time, I worked on three different projects researching graphene, fibre optics, and the physics of new types of semiconductors. At McGill University as an MEng student I became interested in developing tools to study the seat of our subjective universe: the human brain. There I worked with an international team of engineers to develop a new MRI technique for imaging the brain’s structure and composition. I’m committed to promoting education and spreading knowledge through tutoring mathematics and science, giving neuroscience workshops to elementary-level students, and publishing my scientific work. When I’m outside the lab, I’m usually outdoors – snowboarding, cycling, and hiking are my things.
