Experienced Retail Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. Bachelor's Degree Biomedical Science focused on Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Griffith University. During the beginning of my career journey, I have propelled myself into many early managerial positions and different business environments which have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience such as: Developing leadership skills in circumstances of motivating staff in fundamental sales techniques to increase performance and educating other staff with information and in doing this helped increase sales of our retail stores because we could pass our knowledge of the product onto the customer. During my studies at university, I have gained exceptional interpersonal skills by studying a course dedicated to improving interpersonal skills between people and this has helped me in how I connect with existing as well as new clients and using this knowledge paired with many years working in retail I understand and strive for building long-lasting clientele relationships. Studying at university has helped fine-tune many skills for me especially my ability to apply critical thinking for problem-solving when facing a difficult situation in the workplace. This allows me to take a step back and focus on a solution to the problem that leads to progress and increases team morale. By listening to every source of information and being able to collate important information for delivery in a concise manner.
