A well placement engineer with 7+ years in the energy industry. As an Electrical, Electronics Engineer - also trained as oil-well instrument technician/production operator - I started as measurement/logging while drilling (MLWD) engineer on the Norwegian North Sea (and Barent Sea) for different clients (and fields); deploying full suite of state-of-the-art technologies for effective and efficient acquisition, and processing of real-time (and recorded mode) data for petrophysical formation evaluation; drilling optimization, and well placement. Focus, for the past 4 years, has been on extensive use of geosteering and geostopping techniques, with full-suite of logging-drilling tools and software, for placing wells in the desired target formations while mapping the reservoir and interpreting boundaries and fluid contacts; in different oil/gas fields for more than 20 operators across 8 different countries/regions. With the successful completion of my MBA, I am bridging the gap between technical expertise and the business/leadership domains.
