I blend a background in sports science and coaching with data skills that help make sense of performance data using statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and critical domain knowledge. On a day-to-day: - I work with wellness, medical, physical testing, GPS, technical and tactical, strength and conditioning, and coaching datasets from various data providers: Wyscout, Catapult, Statsbomb, Opta, Playermaker, VALD, STATSports, Teambuildr. - I manage and blend multiple data sources from flat files, databases, and APIs, guaranteeing that data is captured and treated accurately, generating novel metrics, statistical analysis, and data tools that support the decision-making process of the different stakeholders in medical, performance analysis, coaching, sports science, recruitment and operations departments in professional clubs. Recently, I have: - Created dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI - Managed databases and queried data with SQL - Built API connections that pull data on a schedule, transform and load data into databases, and reports - Developed web applications to ingest and interact with data and carry out predictive modeling in Streamlit - Python - Used Python scripting for extracting, transforming, and loading data and set up automated data pipelines and workflows in Azure I enjoy hearing new perspectives, learning new tools, and helping others.
