Daniel Peruzzi

I worked from a young age and this meant that I had the opportunity to try many job roles. Before and during studying for my degree I had worked as a teaching assistant, bar supervisor, suit salesman, and other part time jobs such as festival work. Upon being the only graduate from my Physics and Astronomy degree out of a class of fifteen I moved to London and worked at Foxtons for six and a half years getting promoted multiple times in many functions across the company. I started as an estate agent banking over £50, 000 for the company consistently and then moved from that department as a senior estate agent to the clients accounts department. Within my first year in this role I received employee of the year and this led me to be promoted to the company accounts payable assistant and then again to the financial accounts assistant. Within this role I streamlined processes reducing them from days down to hours. After I left Foxtons I stayed in the property sector and moved to Johns&Co as a Management accountant. After being at Johns&Co for two years I was then promoted again to Financial controller managing a team of five from across both accounting departments, client accounts and company accounts. During the time of working in the different accounts positions I became a qualified accountant with CIMA and can now use my hard-earned letters ACMA, CGMA. Although I am currently not studying a course I do enjoy adding more strings to my bow and so I am now learning to code in visual basic as this will help me be able to make macros through excel and in turn improve company reporting.
