Daniel Sabater Hernández

Dr Daniel Sabater-Hernández completed his PhD in 2010 at University of Granada (Spain) and, currently is a full-time research fellow at the UTS Graduate School of Health since 2012. In 2014, he was awarded a highly-competitive UTS Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship. He is a lecturer in the PhD program "Clinical Medicine and Public Health" at University of Granada and, since 2003, has been a member of the Pharmaceutical Care Research Group of the University of Granada, where he currently is a research project supervisor. Since 2002, Dr Sabater-Hernández’s research has focused on Pharmacy Practice and, within this field, specifically in the cardiovascular area. Currently, his research interests encompass the development, optimization, evaluation and implementation of cardiovascular pharmaceutical services. As part of his career, Dr Sabater-Hernández has supervised 9 PhD candidates. He has been involved in more than 20 research projects and published over 40 articles in refereed journals. He has been invited as a speaker to present his research at over ten international conferences. In 2011, he was recognised with an Early Career Researcher Award from the Iberoamerican Academy of Pharmacy. He has been invited as a lecturer in graduate and postgraduate courses in the area of Pharmacy Practice and Research in several universities, including University of Granada, University of Valencia and University San Jorge (Spain), University of Antioquia and University of Cartagena (Columbia), University Mayor Real y Pontifica de San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca (Bolivia), University of Technology, Sydney (Australia).
