Hospice care has had a major positive impact on my professional and spiritual growth. I lost a brother to Melanoma 22 years ago, which affected me profoundly. This experience introduced me to the hospice philosophy and served as the inspiration for me to become an RN. I knew after becoming an RN that I would eventually work in hospice.
