Daphrose Nyirasafali

Daphrose Nyirasafali is a highly experienced professional in the field of FP and SRHR. With over 20 years working experience at central and decentralized levels, she possesses measurable expertise in designing RH/FP/ASRH policies, strategies, training manuals and IEC/BCC materials. With a background as a Nurse-Midwife, she is highly committed to guarantee positive outcomes for women and adolescents, in particular within changing environments and multicultural settings. Daphrose is a member of Surge Roster and was deployed in the Philippines as RH Coordinator for 2 months in the aftermath of the typhoon. She provides continuous technical assistance in proposal writing to mobilize resources and enlist collaboration for humanitarian responses, effectively positioning UNFPA Rwanda in national coordination mechanism, data collection, situation-reporting and sharing of good practices. Pro-active in nature, Daphrose has successfully coordinated and ensured proper execution. Daphrose has a bachelor degree in Demography and a Public Health Masters.
