Accountability: •18+ years’ experience in procurement and inventory control •A primary buyer contact for schools and admin., including procurement and regulatory issues. •Assist mgmt and staff with many supply chaint, regulation, and compliance issues. •Continually searching for business improvement processes. •Administrator for Independent Contractors for the CBE. •Responsible for RFP processes, and assist in Contract Management •SCMP designation, and a current member of the PMAC (recently replaced CPP). •CPM designation, and a current member of the ISM. CPSM designation •Member of the NIGP, considering a CPPO. Responsibilities: •Provide direction and mentoring to staff as required. •Set and prioritize goals and objectives for myself and those assisting me. •Continually work towards improvements in myself and others. •Continue to provide assistance to key projects within the CBE. •Am constantly upgrading myself in terms of laws, trends, regulations, technology, and other areas •Keep well abreast of “best practices” and incorporate them into my daily business practices. •Administrate many opportunities on the Alberta Purchasing Connection system. •Create and maintain databases for many contracts within the CBE, including Smart Technology products, cellular phones, copiers and MFP devices, and others. •Monitor all vendors for assigned commodities and review..
