Darell Fazekas

Darell has 27 years’ experience in helping the community through various endeavors. In 1992, Darell joined Island County Fire Department and completed the Washington State Firefighter I Training Academy. He then furthered his education by receiving his Emergency Medical Technician credentials in 1993 and continued his training by attending several courses to further is education in the Emergency Services environment. Soon after, Darell was promoted to Safety Lieutenant with the Fire Department and then began work with an ambulance company providing 911 services to the greater Seattle area. There Darell worked through the ranks to become a Field Training Officer, Shift Supervisor and was promoted to County Manager responsible for the daily operations of the business. In late 1999 he was hired at Snohomish County Corrections as a Custody Officer/EMT. Darell completed his training at the Washington State Patrol Training Academy in spring of 2000 and continued to work as a Custody Officer until starting his own business late 2001 where he worked until 2009. Darell is currently a member of Placer County Fire as a Engineer/Operator, Firefighter I/ EMT.Darell came to Total Monitoring Services, Inc. December of 2009. He began his career in the Security Industry as a graveyard dispatcher and shortly after transferred to dayshift. From there Darell moved through the ranks at Total Monitoring Services becoming a shift lead/trainer, then Shift Supervisor. In 2013, Darell was promoted to the Central Station Manager. As Central Station Manager he is able to train, assist, and develop our staff into the best in the business. Through his background he has gained invaluable knowledge combined with strong management skills and a working knowledge of the industry. Darell believes in communication, extensive training, and promoting a positive working environment. Darell was promoted to Director of Central Station Operations in May 2019. He is excited for this new journey.
