Darren Perryman

Darren Perryman has over 30 years of technical experience as a licensed motor vehicle Loss Adjuster/Assessor and has held a number of senior management roles within the insurance industry, including State Assessing Manager, for a major insurer. Darren has been responsible for service provision of more than 100,000 motor vehicle assessments, with an annual repair cost of $144m and has personally completed more than 15,000 assessments during the past 10+ years as an independent Loss Adjuster. Throughout his career, Darren has acted as an expert witness in multiple litigation cases in both mediation and Magistrates Court. Darren holds a Certificate IV in Vehicle Loss Assessing (AUR40511), is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and is a qualified Tradesman Panel Beater. Capabilities include:  Over 30 years in the motor vehicle repair industry including as a tradesman, an including assessing, supervisory, analyst and repairer relationship roles as well as customer service management, team leadership and state management roles within panel shop environments, insurance companies and most recently within the contract assessing industry.  A positive, cheerful and engaging individual who can influence others through well developed negotiation and communication skills.  Sound and extensive technical knowledge developed through contemporary practical experience as well as participation in industry based learning programs.  Able to adapt my excellent communication skills to a diverse range of people and situations, I have strong relationships within the Repair and Insurance industries.
