As a corporate lawyer in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, specialized in cross-border M&A, structured finance, private equity and capital markets transactions. After nearly a decade in legal practice, worked for Merrill Lynch International Bank as a Director of Investments with a focus on institutional asset management solutions for large corporations, sovereign wealth funds and family offices across South-East Asia. COO and senior member of the management team at Hera Capital Partners, leading proprietary growth capital investments in consumer-tech and consumer-retail businesses within the South-East Asian region as well as overseeing legal, regulatory, compliance, administrative and operational matters. Continue to remain as a Senior Advisor to Hera Capital Partners. Qualified as a Barrister-at-Law (England & Wales) after graduating with an undergraduate degree in law from the London School of Economics, and a master’s degree in banking and finance law from King's College London. Also a qualified Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia, having been admitted to the High Court of Malaya. Awarded the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (D.I.M.P.) in 2012 by HRH the Sultan of Pahang.
