Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and Veteran with an active security clearance and over 23 years’ management and leadership experience in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) field including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Leadership positions held include all positions available in the EOD career field, at and below the Battalion level, supervising from 2 to 300 personnel; additionally held primary staff positions at the EOD Group and Brigadier General level, with a sphere of influence that ranged from 1200 – 4500 personnel. Primary area of expertise is in the leadership of personnel and teams conducting render safe and exploitation of US and Foreign ordnance. Additional area of expertise is in the defeat, render safe, and exploitation of Improvised Explosive Devices to include chemical, biological, nuclear and high yield explosive (CBRNE) hazards. Executed or supervised the execution of 6,114 combat, combat support, or explosive hazard emergency response and 290 Very Important Person Protection missions throughout career. Executed resource management of training, travel and materials valued at $109 million, ensuring accountability and serviceability. Maintained a grade point average of over 90% in all military and civilian education attended. Was commended multiple times by General Officers and other Commanders for performance and professionalism, individually and of the organizations to which assigned.
