David Bristow

OVERVIEWDavid brings well rounded experience to the board table. His career has included both public and private sector management; being a business consultant to large public, government and small private corporations; being a board member of a number of private companies, and being actively involved as a chairman and board member in a number of not for profit organisations.David currently works extensively with senior leadership teams in private companies either as a business advisor or as a chairman/board member. As a business advisor he provides strategic and management advice to develop sustainable organisations and profitable businesses. In addition to his advisory work David has been a chairman and board member of a number of private companies involved in diverse sectors including professional services, banking, multi media and information technology.He also brings a proven ability to work effectively with organisations in many industry sectors which have extended from manufacturing, communications, logistics, oil and gas, mining, government, property development to professional services. David was formerly a partner with Ernst & Young Consulting and Vice President with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (1985-2002) following an initial career in the Victorian Public Service (1967 – 1985) where he progressed to the senior executive service in the then Department of Lands and Department of Community Services. Interspersed with his professional career David has been an active board member/chairman of a number of not for profit organisations.
