My sweet wife and I are currently Service Missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are serving at the Heber Valley girls camp in Heber City, Utah. It is an 18 month mission. We live at the camp in a cabin and serve for a 6 month duration during the summer, return home for 6 months during the winter, and then return to the camp for the remaining 6 months. Shortly after our arrival at the camp this last summer we were selected to train and work on one of the 5 different challenge courses at the camp. It was pretty intense training for about 6 weeks prior to any campers coming to camp resulting in level one (and later, level two) certification. It was/is hard work with long hours but it is the most rewarding work that we have ever done. We have a blog explaining our adventures - please go and read about them.
