Over the past 24 years of work experience I have gained many skills which would be of value in most work environments especially in relation to customer services as I have built up considerable experience over the past five to six years in this particular field. My communication skills with the people I work with on a daily basis, and with external clients have always been of a very high standard both in written but in particular verbal communications. I understand that when dealing with the customers in many instances empathy and patience is required and you must have a high degree of listening skills to ensure that the customers needs are met. Along with this must come a very high degree of product knowledge and understanding of the business rules to ensure that both the customers and business needs are met. I am able to follow direction set down to me by my team leaders and I am happy to engage in discussion on any matter that may help in work practices or processes to ensure standards are maintained or can be improved upon both as an individual and for the team as a whole. I feel that I have no problem in learning knew computer operations and knew programs that are required to facilitate timely and accurate information to the customer. I have a good basic working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Finally I find dealing with clients in a professional manner and treating them as I would expect to be treated myself when trying to resolve there inquiries, problems or issues is the best way to assist the customer and to represent those whom I am working for.
