David Demarest

Current Responsibilities As International Director and a Market Leader in the Southeast, Demarest specializes in corporate representation and consultation for corporate clients in Atlanta and throughout the United States from the Atlanta Regional Headquarters. A perennial top producer, Mr. Demarest brings with him 28 years of real estate experience and a wealth of in-depth knowledge of the Atlanta market and the greater southeast.Demarest leads a team of ten practitioners with degrees of expertise and specialization enabling the group to deliver a wide array of services to its diverse client base. With practice groups dedicated to both local transaction assignments in the Greater Atlanta area and to outsourced corporate real estate portfolio services nationwide, he and his team are active in every major US market. Clients have included: Ernst & Young, General Electric, Wells Fargo, Atlanta Braves, J.P. Morgan, and Regus Business Centers, among others. Demarest has been active in the Atlanta real estate market since 1987 and has represented clients in transaction volume of over $2 billion in his career. ExperiencePrior to his current assignment, Mr. Demarest resided at Cushman and Wakefield where he was the firm’s overall top professional in the Southeast from 1998-2006. Throughout his career, he has been consistently ranked among the Real Estate professionals in Metropolitan Atlanta. Mr. Demarest started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Education and AffiliationsMr. Demarest has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University and he graduated from The Marist School in Atlanta. He currently serves on several local boards, including the Georgia State University Athletic Department Board of Trustees, The Piedmont Park Conservancy, and The Marist School Master Plan Committee and Alumni Association.
